Here is our mystery track for November 2013.
We will do something a little different this month and ask questions about what you can see in the substrate. There is enough information here for you to determine the species and direction of travel. We will stipulate that the gait is either a gallop or lope and that it took place along a Southern California beach.

Identify both species and tell us which one was closest to the water. Also tell us the
general direction (N-S-E-W) the tracks were heading and roughly what time of day the photograph was taken.
