WILDLIFE SHOT OF THE WEEK
Wildlife photographers willing to share one or more of their favorite photos of our local animals are encouraged to contact us at dicknewell@octrackers.net. We will post your photo for a few weeks and of course credit you as you wish. The photo should have been taken "recently" in Orange County.
Trackers will recognize this Red Diamond Rattlesnake (Crotalus exsul) that was very upset at wildlife photographer and tracker Don Millar. Only moments after taking this photo we were blessed with the sight of a mature Bald Eagle flying directly overhead as we were tracking along the eastern shoreline of Irvine Lake.
